Functional hardware, selected as a system.
Concealed hinges
Hinge selection depends on framed or frameless construction, door overlay, thickness, size and the required opening angle. Compatible soft-close hinge options can be reviewed with the cabinet specification; the mounting plate and drilling must match.
Drawer runners
Runners influence drawer travel and access to stored items. Confirm the selected system's dimensions, extension and load specification before the drawer is built. Runner choice and drawer-box construction need to be coordinated together.
Drawer & box systems
Blum box systems offer coordinated drawer components. The selected system determines the drawer sides, usable space and compatible fittings. LeviArs reviews these choices against the cabinetry and storage plan rather than treating box systems as interchangeable parts.
AVENTOS lift systems
For compatible wall cabinets, a lift system moves the door upward. The correct application depends on the front's size and weight, the desired motion and the surrounding clearance. Check ceiling conditions and reachable operation as part of the design.
Soft-close & opening options
BLUMOTION supports soft closing. TIP-ON provides mechanical opening support in compatible applications; selected TIP-ON BLUMOTION configurations combine opening support with soft closing. The intended behavior must be specified with the correct components.
Interior organization
Organizers should fit the selected drawer system and the items it will hold. Measure usable interior space and review dividers or inserts alongside runner and box choices, particularly in narrow drawers, vanity storage and deep kitchen drawers.
Hardware varies by cabinet collection and approved project specification. Blum products may be specified or coordinated where applicable and confirmed in the approved proposal. Blum hardware is not a standard inclusion in every LeviArs cabinet.
From selection to specification
Compatibility is part of the cabinet design.
Start with the cabinet
Identify the cabinet manufacturer, construction and available hardware options. Existing cabinets need a closer review of condition, clearances and mounting points before a retrofit can be proposed.
Check dimensions & loads
Record door or drawer size, weight and intended contents. Use the selected manufacturer's current technical information to confirm the application. A similar-looking hinge or runner does not establish compatibility.
Coordinate drilling & assembly
Confirm the exact components, boring patterns and installation requirements before fabrication. Changes to a runner or hinge after cabinet parts have been made can require a revised design or replacement components.
Approve the complete system
The proposal identifies the hardware that is included, any separately scoped upgrades and the intended cabinet application. Availability, fitting, adjustment and installation responsibilities are confirmed for the approved selection.

What is the difference between soft-close and push-to-open cabinet hardware?+
Soft-close controls the closing movement. Push-to-open helps open a compatible front when pressed. They describe different functions; whether they can be combined depends on the exact selected system and components.
Can Blum hardware be added to every cabinet?+
No. Suitability depends on cabinet construction, dimensions, door or drawer weight, drilling and the selected system. Existing cabinets need an application review before LeviArs can confirm a compatible upgrade.
What is a lift system for wall cabinets?+
A lift system moves a compatible wall-cabinet door upward instead of using a conventional side swing. Door size, weight, motion, ceiling clearance and operation must be considered when selecting the system.
Do drawer runner specifications affect drawer size and storage?+
Yes. Runner and box-system requirements affect construction dimensions and available interior space. Coordinate the approved hardware and drawer design before fabrication, including the intended storage load and organizer fit.
How is functional hardware selected for a custom cabinet project?+
LeviArs reviews the cabinet construction, dimensions, storage goals and desired opening and closing behavior, then coordinates a compatible specification. Exact components and inclusions are confirmed in the approved proposal.
Is LeviArs an authorized Blum dealer?+
Yes. LeviArs Design & Remodeling is an authorized Blum dealer. We can specify and coordinate compatible Blum systems; this does not mean that every cabinet collection includes Blum hardware or that every component is stocked.
